Effective lattice actions for correlated electrons.

چکیده
We present an exact, unconstrained representation of the electron operators in terms of operators of opposite statistics. We propose a path–integral representation for the t-J model and introduce a parameter controlling the semiclassical behaviour. We extend the functional approach to the Hubbard model and show that the mean–field theory is equivalent to considering, at Hamiltonian level, the Falikov–Kimball model. Connections with a bondcharge model are also discussed. 71.20.Ad, 75.10.Lp, 74.65.+n. Typeset using REVTEX 1 The investigation of the nature of the ground–state and of the low–lying excitations of strongly correlated electron systems is a fundamental problem of the modern many–body theory. The standard model of correlated electrons on a lattice is the Hubbard Hamiltonian

We give an overview of recent work on charge degrees of freedom of strongly correlated electrons on geometrically frustrated lattices. Special attention is paid to the checkerboard lattice, i.e., the two-dimensional version of a pyrochlore lattice and to the kagomé lattice. For the checkerboard lattice it is shown that at half filling when spin degrees of freedom are neglected and at quarter f...
متن کاملTheory of Photoinduced Phase Transitions in Molecular Conductors: Interplay Between Correlated Electrons, Lattice Phonons and Molecular Vibrations
Dynamics of photoinduced phase transitions in molecular conductors are reviewed from the perspective of interplay between correlated electrons and phonons. (1) The charge-transfer complex TTF-CA shows a transition from a neutral paraelectric phase to an ionic ferroelectric phase. Lattice phonons promote this photoinduced transition by preparing short-range lattice dimerization as a precursor. M...

We study the time evolution of two correlated electrons of opposite spin in an anharmonic lattice chain. The electrons are described quantum mechanically by the Hubbard model while the lattice is treated classically. The lattice units are coupled via Morse-Toda potentials. Interaction between the lattice and the electrons arises due to the dependence of the electron transfer-matrix element on t...

Kondo lattice model: Unitary transformations, spin dynamics, strongly correlated charged modes, and vacuum instability. Abstract Using unitary transformations, we express the Kondo lattice Hamiltonian in terms of fermionic operators that annihilate the ground state of the interacting system and that represent the best possible approximations to the actual charged excitations. In this way, we ob...

The possibility of symmetrical s-wave superconductivity in the honeycomb lattice is studied within a strongly correlated regime, using the Hubbard model. The superconducting order parameter is defined by introducing the Green function, which is obtained by calculating the density of the electrons . In this study showed that the superconducting order parameter appears in doping interval be...
